I’m going to go through a journey of my movies and tv shows and record them to share with people.
First up is Silent Hill. It is a movie adaptation of the cult video game of the same name. It takes the first 3 games together with their own story line as well. The music is from the third game, while characters seem to be from the first game, while the different settings are from the second game.
The gang must over come a team of monsters.. and to fight them, some times you become them
I’m sort of just realizing what an important moment in the Wonder Woman trailer where she breaks the gun with her back was.
I’m not sure if it was on purpose, but with all the controversy in media over gun violence, choosing to have your superhero physically shatter a gun to pieces is a very powerful image. Wonder Woman has always been an ambassador for peace. She chooses nonviolence, always. So here we see her not just taking away someone’s gun, but destroying it.
This image might be the best representation of Wonder Woman I’ve ever seen.

MARK WAID LOOKS BACK ON ‘KINGDOM COME’
∟ Has it been interesting to you, the way that your takes on these characters have informed what’s come in the last 20 years? Obviously we now have a generation of people who are coming up who are writing for whom Kingdom Come is kind of a key piece of the comics canon. Yeah, that terrifies me. [Laughs] Not because I’m protective of it. Not because I feel like it’s our toy and nobody else should play with it. That’s not it at all. It’s just the idea that I see some touches of Kingdom Come here and there that are well thought out and well executed and make me feel good, and I see other places where they just ignore the fact that it’s supposed to be a cautionary fable. It’s not supposed to be like this! We weren’t saying Lois should die and Superman and Wonder Woman should be together for ever and ever. That wasn’t the point of the story; that was unintended consequences. Every once in a while somebody will make a choice and defend it as, “Well, it’s the way it was in Kingdom Come,” to which you just want to go, “No! No, that was a cautionary fable!”
I can’t believe I have to deal with seeing posts complaining about Steve Trevor being in a Wonder Woman movie. Steve…in a Wonder Woman movie…
Do people not realize how incredibly important Steve is in bridging the gap between Diana’s world and Man’s World? Steve is such an important character to Diana’s character development. He shows her a different side of mankind.
I’m going to assume that people who are complaining about Steve Trevor are actually incredibly ignorant about his importance to Diana’s life and automatically dismissed him because they want Diana to be a strong woman who doesn’t need a man.
And don’t give me bullshit about “Diana spent all those years on an island filled with women. She’s obviously lesbian.”
Okay? She did have relations with women but like she can be bi sexual? She can be on a spectrum? Maybe she falls in love with personality instead of gender? I’ve actually known a lesbian who fell in love with and married a man. She still claims to be lesbian, but she just fell in love with an awesome dude. Sexuality is not always black and white. And being someone who has questioned my own sexuality and sexual orientation, it’s a lot of shades of grey and really spending time to get to know yourself.
Read comics, watch the animated show, literally just be informed on the character and the history before making posts critiquing Steve Trevor for all the wrong reasons.
